Terms of Service – Booksify

Welcome to Booksify. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Booksify mobile application ("App") and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Service.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Booksify App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

You represent that you are at least 9 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2 Description of Service

Booksify is an audiobook streaming application that provides users with access to a library of audiobook content. The Service allows you to:

Browse and discover audiobooks from our catalog
Stream audiobooks directly within the App
Download audiobooks for offline listening
Create and manage personal libraries and playlists
Track your listening progress across devices
Access premium features through subscription plans

3 Subscription and Payments

Apple App Store Billing

All subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Management

You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

4 Free Trial

Booksify may offer a free trial period (typically 3 days) for new subscribers.

At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Free trials are available once per Apple ID.
Unused portions of a free trial will be forfeited upon subscription purchase.

5 Content and Licensing

LibriVox Public Domain Content: A significant portion of our content is sourced from LibriVox. This content consists of recordings of literary works in the public domain, created by volunteers. It is free for anyone to use, share, and redistribute.

Content License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content for your personal, non-commercial use only.

6 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purposes
Use automated systems (scraping) to extract content
Redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit any content
Share your account credentials with others

7 Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Booksify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data resulting from your use of the service.
